How about flowers in a vase?
Place away from direct sunlight, aircon & heaters to ensure longevity of your florals. Change the water every 2-3 days. Ensure there is no foliage in the vase as this can enable bacteria growth and that stems are fully submerged in water.
Always place flowers in a cool place. Avoid drafts & ripe fruit, this will cause them to wilt faster.
how about my flowers in foam?
Little to nil maintenance is required. Add a half cup of tap water to the base or pour over the top of the arrangements avoiding direct contact with flowers to increase its longevity.
Keep in mind certain flowers have certain needs.
Hydrangeas love water and need to drink through their heads and also their stems. Mist the petals as well as putting the stems in water.
Poppies need to be cauterised before adding to water. To do this, burn the bottom inch or two of the stem with a lighter after a fresh cut before placing it in water.
